Design story & product details
The small cream sign in the upper storey gives the palace drawing a quiet point of focus beneath the olive-green Seoul title. Seoul Palace Coordinates is a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt whose artwork pairs that title with the coordinate line 37.5665° N, 126.9780° E and Korea in narrow serif capitals. Fine curls turn inward from some of the title’s thick and thin letter strokes.
Two extremely pale clouds leave wide white space between the words and the palace. The Korean words read Gwanghwamun, meaning Gate of Enlightenment in English. A symmetrical façade unfolds through paired tiled roofs with upturned ends, pale edges, green beams, and densely packed red-and-gold framework.
The mark is made by gathering fine architectural details into a compact elevation and leaving deliberate open intervals around it. Three brown arches cut into the cream lower wall, with a narrower middle arch, while low tiled side walls run outward. Tan, ochre, and grey-brown horizontal layers form a shallow base beneath the dark blue-grey roofs. Pale roof edging traces each tier and clarifies the stacked arrangement. The composition keeps the vertical structure crisp.
