Design story & product details
Static Bloom Syndrome begins with two stacked runs of heavyweight condensed capitals, their mottled blue wood-grain fill contained by darker blue strokes. The words form a broad header for the flower, while several leaves overlap the lower letterforms. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the title and bloom read as one tightly built vertical artwork.
- Pointed, blade-like petals fan out in royal blue, teal, and mustard-yellow gradients from a dark circular center, ringed with small yellow-tipped stamens.
- A thick stem is wound with thorny, yellow-outlined vines before breaking into a jagged lattice of crossing black spikes.
- An irregular blue splatter spreads behind the stem, with dots, drips, and thin lateral spikes that occasionally end in small yellow circles.
Empty gray space remains at the corners and along the sides, giving the dense central construction room without extending the artwork into a full background.
