Description
“Switchback Society” follows the upper curve in bold white serif lettering, each letter edged in black against a navy ring with fine gold trim. The type gives the emblem its first clear structure before the trail begins: a cream zigzag climbs through gray, angular peaks, with a pale yellow disc held behind them in the gold-yellow field. On the Premium Wooden Framed Poster, the route draws the small pair of backpacked hikers forward from the rocky foreground, their walking poles showing the scale of the mountains. Eight-point stars appear at both upper corners of the border, a measured detail that keeps the circular frame active without breaking its symmetry.
Twisted pines rise from boulders at either side, their flattened gold-yellow foliage echoing the sky while dark trunks carry the graphic weight of the border. A gold ribbon finishes the badge with “Bukhansan,” Korean for Bukhan Mountain, in navy and tiny mountain marks at each end. Beneath it, “Est. 2026” appears in white inside a small navy tab, bracketed by short dashes. Navy, gold-yellow, cream, and gray hold the scene together from the trail’s turns to the hikers’ compact outlines.
