Design story & product details
A few pink fragments break away from the ruler’s jagged cuts, interrupting the diagonal measure behind the plant. Tomato Through Ruler is a botanical graphic for the Men’s Oversized Heavyweight Crewneck T-Shirt, where green stems cross a field of tall burgundy serif letters spelling “Unmeasured.” The top line stays tightly packed. Two round green fruits and drooping pink flowers pull the arrangement down toward a mottled pink-and-burgundy pot.
The lower burgundy panel gives the work its counterpoint with the words “Worth Is Not Output” in tall pink capitals. At the right, a small “Growth Study” box pairs a sprout symbol with narrow vertical bars; open white channels between the stems stop the crowded elements from closing into a single block. The numeral sequence skips from 4 to 7.
The mark is built through overlaps: a central stem is tied by pink cord to a dark stake, while curled perforated leaves pass in front of the letterforms. Light distress in the burgundy fill and the ruler’s black ticks and unevenly retained numerals give the measured device a deliberately broken continuity.
