Design story & product details
The print gives the artwork a worn signboard character on the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, carrying the car and lettering in a deliberately weathered finish. Black speckling breaks through the cream letter faces, making the age part of the ink itself.
An orange vintage sedan takes the lead, angled toward its front-left corner with heavy rust marks across its body. The dark grille is packed with narrow vertical slats; whitewall tires, chrome bumper work and small headlights receive a precision that contrasts with the sparsely treated roofline. Cream windows hold a restrained blue tint.
Bold serif arches spell Too Old and Too Cool in cream, each edged in dark brown and backed by an orange shadow. Small stars with radiating lines punctuate the arrangement, while paired orange-and-cream pinstripes sweep outward at either side. The mirrored arches give the car an emblem-like frame.
A solid gray field leaves the outer corners open, directing the dense wheel and grille detail back toward the car. The controlled symmetry lets the distressed lettering and corroded finish carry equal visual weight. No secondary scene distracts from that measured construction.
