The artist layers busy shelving with jars and a pour-over dripper, while a striped towel drapes from the counter just within reach. The barista adjusts a hanging plant by an open window, her face close to the frame, and the city’s lights spill in from outside, framing a faint tower in the distance. Even the window’s hinges and latch are rendered in detail, mirroring two small icons near the hem.
The bottom graffiti-style lettering, with sharp drop shadow and a cream-and-orange fill, curves across the hoodie and reads “WINDOWSILL AFTER CLOSING,” giving the piece its name.
