Description
The bow’s laced deck line is meticulously labeled, its looping run detailed enough for anyone familiar with kayak rigging to recognize. Pale blue cross-hatching brings curves to the hull, and even the oval blades of the paired paddles show subtle wear by their stippled shapes. A dashed route stretches outward, connecting the hand-rendered sea craft to a labeled rocky outcrop at right. That sketch nearly escapes the crowded composition, floating beyond the kayak’s shadow.
Large, blocky letters in a gentle arch announce ‘ROUND THE HEADLAND’, their outlines and faint blue shadow separating them from the illustration below.
