Description
A brown-threaded spool appears at the far left edge of the print, beginning a single continuous thread that travels through bold serif letters above a sepia-toned workshop scene. Each looping movement tethers the heading to the image below, as the thread pierces its way around characters, giving a sense of physical linkage. The bold, outlined title is stamped with even brown, connecting visually to the tools on the cluttered tabletop.
Small uppercase sans-serif text floats below the larger letters, separated by thin lines. Within the artwork, a window frames a scene of hands in the middle of resoling a shoe, containers and a simple lamp close by. Only those hands are visible, with the rest of the workspace densely layered in cross-hatching, contrasting with the relatively bare space beyond the windowpane.
On the men’s oversized heavyweight crewneck t-shirt, every illustrated detail relies on linework and exaggerated contrast.
