Design story & product details
The heavyweight unisex crewneck t-shirt features a stretched striped cat, its body extended along the top edge and tail curling back, caught mid-step as one paw reaches experimentally toward a rounded stair-post cap. The illustration makes the most of the wide surface, using navy and cream markings to draw the cat’s stripes and paws, with open gaps between. The scene introduces a distinctive rhythm with olive stairs rising along one side and grounded by a trailing cluster of heart-shaped leaves in the lower right corner.
Two centered blackletter words, “STAIRS EXIST,” appear in rust-red, and the initial S of each word is noticeably taller than the others, extending above the line and given diamond-shaped details the rest of the letters do not have. Sloping cream and navy railings align with the text, in keeping with the artwork’s varied direction and open layout. Cream veins on each leaf and navy scratch-like grain on the stairs show care in every section. The piece works well for someone who prefers illustration over slogans and looks for artwork with confident, deliberate marks.
