Design story & product details
Vivid orange cuts through beige and dark blue-black, while yellow lettering lands with a black outline and a second, offset shadow. Superglue Is Not A Toy takes the form of a tall, scuffed panel whose warning feels like a compressed little scene. The Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt carries three oversized figures with rounded faces: a bob-haired child grips a pale pointed object, a swept-haired child holds a small orange cat, and a whiskered cat wears an apron with visible pockets. Their dark oval eyes and tiny curved mouths give each face the same deliberately spare expression. Orange traces recur in the hair, clothing, boots and outer contours, tying the characters to the worn frame.
- “Superglue” leans hard to the right in yellow capitals, with its shadow creating a doubled edge.
- “Is Not A Toy” runs over the illustrated tube in peach-orange capitals edged in black, completing the artwork’s English warning.
- Scratches break up the border, and angular floorboard lines narrow toward the figures from both sides.
The open lower section is not empty: a small tube and a separate orange hand shape interrupt it, an odd detail that leaves the illustrated panel deliberately unresolved.
