Description
The artwork uses only text, organized in two distinct layers on solid grey. The top line, reading FLAT in bold, thick lettering, arches upward in the center with each letter slightly sloping down toward each side. These blocky capitals show a subtle serif-like notch at each terminal point, producing a stylized effect without added imagery. The bottom line reads GROUND in a more linear presentation—straight, slightly narrower than the top, and stretching across the width of the background. There is notable empty space flanking the word GROUND, as well as a balanced separation between the two words themselves.
Both lines share the same pale blue-grey coloring, a shade only a little lighter than the grey background, subtly blending the text into the hat for low contrast. These letterforms are consistently thick and softly rounded at the corners, giving a sense of measured structure. The phrase FLAT GROUND appears just as described, without any additional icons or decoration. Placement and method are kept simple and direct, using embroidery as the medium for this classic dad hat.
