Description
At the edge of the wave, a burst of white spray breaks free, with a single spray droplet caught just as it arches past the letter outlines. Each letter shows a fragment of the underwater world—tiny silhouettes of fish slip through gradient blues while swirls and bubbles shift direction inside each window of the type. The crests and troughs of the wave above shift from turquoise to deep navy, with the brightest foam catching sharp highlights that trace the upper edges.
Clusters of pale blue and white bubbles appear not only between the rocks but also within the letter interiors, amplifying the sense of depth beneath the cresting wave. The rocky base is edged to suggest both shadow and reflected light, pointing to the ocean’s restless motion. The garment uses only the words “UNDERTOW JEJU / CURRENT STUDY”, where ‘Jeju’ refers to the Korean island, alongside marks of current and tide.
