Description
The open white band around the seal gives the lettering room to move before the three large MERCY rows take over. Blue is kept to the mark itself: a thick outer circle worn with scuffs, a finer inner ring, and serif letters cut through with irregular white scratches. Their narrow white counters make the stacked words feel compressed and emphatic. The upper and lower MERCY lines bend with the circle, while the central one stretches wide through the middle.
Small type follows the band in separate runs—NOT EARNED on the left, NOT EXHAUSTED across the top, and NOT WITHHELD down the right—with solid dots dividing the upper phrases. A four-point sparkle breaks the inner ring at the bottom, a detail easy to miss among the distressed edges. The words frame mercy as something not earned, exhausted, or withheld. On the Premium Wooden Framed Poster, the seal reads like a deliberately weathered emblem, with the white gaps in and around the letterforms carrying as much of the composition as the blue ink.
