Open space around the upper gate gives the brown forms room to read clearly, while a second clear area remains beneath the ribbon. On this Classic Dad Hat, two upright posts are built with round finials, short rounded collars, rectangular shafts and broad bases. A tapered panel bridges them, its sloping upper and lower edges broken by six narrow black vertical slots. Small brown hinge marks trace the left side of the gate, a detail that keeps the structure from feeling symmetrical by default.

Green leaf clusters fan from both bases, and black outlines divide the overlapping leaves into distinct shapes. The bright blue ribbon curves upward through its middle before ending in folded forked tails. Its tightly packed heavy white slab-serif letters follow that arc, with black edging maintaining each word against the blue.
