Description
Three oversized blue Korean characters carry the artwork, reading “to the sea” in English. The embroidered Classic Dad Hat gives the words a broad, shallow arch across its upper field. Their solid fill is uninterrupted by an outline, so the blue weight is carried by the letterforms themselves and the surrounding area stays open.
Each letter has a different stance: the left tips counterclockwise, the centre holds straight, and the right leans clockwise. Their thick strokes have slightly unsettled corners, including small stepped bites along a few edges. White rectangular cuts pass through the blue, making interior openings and channels without connecting any character to another.
Far below, a separate small mark repeats the blue with a wide open oval sweep. A shorter yellow crescent runs inside it, divided by a slim white gap; both rounded curves leave their opening aimed toward the upper right.
The long blank interval between the lettering and emblem is part of the composition, not an accidental gap. It separates the reading of the Korean words from the compact lower sign, leaving two clearly scaled blue elements joined only by their colour.
